CIBR Committees
The Central Iowa Board of REALTORS is committed to provide our members the opportunities to get involved with the community. Serving on a committee is a great way to stay connected with your fellow REALTOR members, build leadership and to continue to promote the REALTOR brand in our community. All of our committees are a volunteer-base with a one year commitment and the opportunity to return.
Consumer Outreach Committee
Engages with the public through events, programs, & Initiatives to communicate the expertise, ethics, and value of REALTORS and strengthen community relationships. Committee meets bi-monthly or as needed to organize community events.
Equal Housing Committee
Promotes fair housing practices, advocates for equal housing opportunities through member & community events, and provides resources for REALTORS to support all clients. Committee meets bi-monthly or as needed based on upcoming events.
Education Committee
Plans and oversees continuing education opportunities for members to enhance professional knowledge and skills. Committee meets quarterly or as needed to plan educational opportunities.
Finance Committee
Manages the board's financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability. Committee meets monthly to review financial reports.
CIBR Foundation Committee
Oversees and organizes the foundation's fundraising activities (Ex. Golf, bowling, office Olympics) in order to provide scholarships to area high school graduates. Committee meets bi-monthly or as needed bases on events.
RPAC Committee
Encourages member participation in the REALTORS Political Action Committee by creating events to promote investing, voting, and involvement in activities that protect property rights and the real estate industry. Committee meets bi-monthly or as needed.
Member Engagement Committee
Focuses on increasing member involvement, networking opportunities, and creating programs that strengthen CIBR. Committee meets bi-monthly or as needed to plan events.
